The Add3 paid search team created a media plan with different phases and budgets, helping us gather information at every phase and apply learnings. Our comprehensive approach optimized Google and Bing paid search campaigns to focus on targeting different sections of the conversion funnel. At the bottom of the funnel, we targeted people who knew the exact title of the movie or episode they wanted. For the middle of the funnel, we targeted users who were ready to purchase or rent movies online or had done it in the past with competitors. Finally, at the top of the funnel, we targeted social advertising on Facebook to increase brand awareness and test value propositions and messaging to find what resonated most with the audience.

We tested our creative and targeting strategies, leveraging learnings to both optimize our campaigns and also give the client a deeper understanding of their current- and potential-customer demographics. We partnered with the client’s data analysis teams to evaluate our tests using the Chi-Square test and determine the most successful value propositions then coupled those winning messaging with popular titles.

The timing was critical to our success, with our teams moving quickly to produce uniquely-branded content in advance of streaming releases. We were first in the market for highly-anticipated films with engaging omnichannel campaigns that saturated the market, producing incredible returns.
