SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
High School Digital & Leadership Program
Add3 strives to support Seattle’s diverse community through the education of our young Black high school students. Our goal is to provide these students with the knowledge and skill-development to pursue a career in Creative, Strategy, or Digital Marketing, and to get a sneak peek of working at a professional level with guided mentorship.
SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
TAKEAWAYS & BENEFITS
- Mentorship & Professional skill development
- Education of marketing industry (digital marketing, types of jobs, presentations, and speakers from different departments)
- Digital notebook and final presentation
- Add3 digital bootcamp certification & Google certifications (optional)
At Add3, we are hoping to provide an opportunity to local Black Seattle high school students to immerse themselves in our summer program that showcases what it means to work in an Advertising Agency. Working in marketing is not limited to those who are the ‘ideas people’. We’ll showcase other opportunities in this space and what those roles look like, including but not limited to, social media marketing, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, creative and much more!
Each student will be assigned two (2) Add3 employees as mentors throughout the internship. These mentors will help the student shape the program into something that fits their interests and help them to navigate what is possible after high school.
Students will meet with their mentors for a minimum of one (1) hour per week and will be assigned readings and assignments to be completed independently. At the end of the program, students will have completed their own “digital notebook” and a final project that will be presented to the entire agency staff (35+ people) via Zoom.
Additionally, for the students who are data-driven, we will provide support and guidance for those interested in completing Google certifications such as Google’s Beginner Analytics Certification.
